It all started back in late 2016 when Chonk ran into Tom at a local coffee shop in Georgetown, CA. Tom was working on his mountain bike shuttle business, and after a quick chat about the trails in the Rock Creek OHV area, he asked, “Want a job, bro?” Two weeks later, they were running their first shuttle together.
Fast forward eight rowdy years, full of incredible rides and unforgettable people, and Tom moved on to a new gig at the local fire department. Before leaving, he handed over the van keys, wished us luck, and promised to pop in for the occasional “celebrity ride.”
Now, in 2024, with a fresh rebrand as Ride Georgetown, we’re still offering the same epic trails and rowdy good times. A huge thanks to everyone who has supported us from the start—and to our new friends, get ready to taste the Georgetown goodness!
Looking ahead, our goals are simple: keep the wheels turning, the stoke alive, and work with the Forest Service, moto community, and Rock Creek locals to maintain these incredible trail systems. Plus, we’re committed to supporting local schools and helping the next generation of shredders find their flow. Let’s ride!
